Where are you located?

Our kitchen is located right outside of New York City.  We ship within the continental US for gift boxes and some favors.  Dessert parties, catering, party favors and special gift orders are available in the tri-state area.

How are your desserts packaged?

We wrap our desserts in cellophane and ribbon.  Boxes are stuffed with tissue paper and additional filler to protect your items.  You can specify any gift notes to be included in your order.  We do not include an invoice in the box unless requested.

Can I include a gift card or message with my cookies?

If you would like to include a note with the cookies, you can specify that on the product page or at checkout.  All gift notes can be included at no charge.

How soon can I get my order?

We ship Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday via UPS and require 24-48 hours lead time to process your order.  For faster delivery contact us by phone.

If you have a specific day that you would like your order delivered, contact us to see what we can do.

Catering and favor orders require advance notice that will be determined on an event-by-event basis.  Please call or e-mail us to find out about availability.

Can I cancel my order?

You can cancel your order within 12 hours of it being placed.  Please call us.

What happens if my order is damaged?

Contact us and we will see what we can do to help.

Your items are perishable, how do I know that my cookies will be delivered fresh?

To ensure our desserts come to you at their freshest, we only mail orders on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays to keep delivery time down to 2-3 days.  Once you receive the order, the desserts should be served within 3 days, refrigerated for up to 7 days, or frozen to enjoy later.

Most cookies and bars will freeze well for 1-2 months.  Cookies can be stored in a tightly sealed Ziploc bag or an airtight container.  Bars and Brownies are best wrapped tightly in foil before being placed into a tightly sealed Ziploc bag.  Sometimes brownies can be enjoyed frozen, but for best results, allow your baked goods to defrost for a few hours at room temperature.  15-30 seconds in the microwave for individual items will work too.

Are you nut-free/gluten-free/Vegan?

All of our products are made on equipment used for nut-based and gluten-filled products.  However, you can request that we leave nuts out of any of our cookies or brownies.  For special gluten-free or vegan requests, contact us to see if we can accommodate you for a special order.

What are the ingredients in your cookies, brownies etc?

All products are baked in a facility producing items with wheat, dairy, nuts and soy.  Our nut-free items may contain trace amount of nuts and we advise anyone with nut allergies to avoid our desserts.

How big are your cookies?

Our cookies, brownies and bars are on average about 1.5 pounds per dozen (or 8 cookies/bars per pound).  Our rugelach can vary in size but generally run about 20 per pound.

Are all of your products listed on the website?

Nope!  For catering and dessert parties we can offer a wider range of products.  If you are looking for something different to include in a gift box, contact us  to see how we can help.

How can I pay?

All online orders go through Paypal which will accept all major credit cards.

What is your shipping policy?

Our current shipper is UPS.  We only mail orders on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays to keep delivery time down.  An email from UPS will be sent when your package is in transit.  We recommend checking your spam folder if you have not received an email with tracking information within several days of your order.  Keep It Sweet Desserts can not be held responsible if UPS determines a package is undeliverable or an address is incorrect.  In that case, additional charges may apply.

If you would like your package delivered on a specific day, please specify that in the order notes box at checkout and we will do our best to target that delivery date.  Holiday orders will be shipped as close as possible to the date ordered.  Please understand that during the holiday rush we may need additional time to prepare your order.  If you need your order expedited please contact us immediately and we will do our best to meet your time crunch.

For estimates on shipping times please visit UPS.com and plug in 07086 as the origin zip code.  For west-coast orders, we strongly suggest 3-day select.  Most east-coast orders will arrive within 1-3 business days.

Shipping is not available for national holidays.
